In this course, the treatment of various differential diagnoses of hypertension with Western herbs with strong reference to practice is described. To each TCM diagnosis such as Rising Gallbladder Yang, Liver Qi Stagnation, Kidney Yin Deficiency with Gallbladder Yang, Kidney Yin Deficiency with Heart Fire, Damp and Phlegm Stagnation as well as Blood Stagnation, causes, main symptoms, as well as tongue and pulse findings are listed. The most important individual herbs are described in detail. Subsequently, the therapy with formulars from Western herbs is explained in detail.

Von der Direktion des Men-Tsee-Khang (Institut für Tibetische Medizin und Astrologie in Dharamsala, Nordindien) mit der Übersetzung des bedeutendsten Werkes der Tibetischen Medizin (rgyud bzhi) beauftragt.
Direktor der “Alliance of Research and Development of Traditional Medicine, Complementary Medicine and Integrative Medicine” der Fudan University in Shanghai. 2019 wurde er zum Mitglied der Redaktion des „American Journal of Chinese Medicine“ ernannt.
